I am a passionate freelance photographer, who is not only technically proficent in the craft, but am very visually expressive in the way I like to tell a story through the images I capture!
Whether it be people or nature, a special celebration or a priceless memory caught in a fleeting moment in time. I love people and nature and thouroughly enjoy photography because it allows me to connect with both on a personal level.
My love of photography began whilst growing up in Fiji. It was my sense of wonder of the natural beauty of this tropical paradise that prompted me to try out my dad's Minolta 7's Film Camera. From the very beginning I loved to photograph sunrises and sunsets, taking every opportunity to get outside whenever the skies showed any hint of color.
All that practice soon helped me to win my very first photographic competition with a single entry of a sunset scene looking across the harbour of Suva. Silhouetted in the foreground was a group of local kids perched on the rocks thinking they were posing for a group shot whilst the sky displayed the danger those dark dramatic storm clouds could have posed if it had eventuated.
Along with my aussie wife and 2 children, we lived in Wynnum for almost 30 years, in which time my landscape images of the Bayside Suburbs of Wynnum, Manly & Lota have captured not only the beauty of nature, but also the interaction of people with their natural built environment. I combine my photography with my love for for travel, scuba diving, camping, bushwalking & sports.
I am an active member of the local redlands community, volunteering at Silky Oaks Children's Haven, local churches, and the Wynnum Fustal Club. I am also a member of the Wynnum Bayside Camera Club.
My wife and I now reside in Alexandra Hills & enjoy every moment we get to spend with our children and grandchildren we are so blessed to have.
I love to provide exceptional photography services which includes baby, children, family, individual & portrait shoots, events, weddings & limited edition landscape prints.
